SEVEN GREAT FEATURES OF THE ALL NEW 2019 GMC SIERRA 1500! | MCLARTY DANIEL BUICK GMC

Fall is here again, and along with football, cooler weather and beautiful autumn colors, this fall comes with a bonus: the release of the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500! Redesigned from bumper to bumper, the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 is more beautiful, more capable and more rugged than ever before, packed with smart design and engineering that make it the best truck GMC has built in over a 110 years of building great trucks. Seen below are just a few of our favorite features available on the all-new 2019 Sierra 1500. Check them out, then stop in... more soon to test drive the new Sierra for yourself. One walk around, one trip around the block, and we think you'll agree this is the best and most beautiful truck GMC has ever made. Click here to shop our selection of 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 models 1) Industry-first MultiPro Tailgate: Even the tailgate on the 2019 GMC Sierra isn't just a tailgate anymore. The engineers behind the 2019 Sierra took things a step further, turning to a clean sheet of paper to create the class-exclusive MultiPro Tailgate, which can be reconfigured in six different ways to help you work smarter. In addition to looking great and continuing the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500's striking lines, the tailgate opens at the touch of a button on the keyfob, and can transform into a full-width step that can support up to 375 pounds, a load stop for longer items, an elevated work surface that can be used as a standing desk on the jobsite, and more. 2) Industry-First Carbon Fiber Cargo Box: If your truck is more than a showboat, you know how quickly everyday use can leave the inside of your truck's painted cargo box looking like scratched, dinged, rusty mess. With the available CarbonPro cargo box, however, that's a thing of the past. Made of bombproof carbon fiber, the GMC-exclusive CarbonPro box offers absolute protection from chips, scratches, dings and scrapes, helping you keep your 2019 GMC Sierra looking like new even if you use your truck like a truck. 3) ProGrade Trailering System: While your average truck "towing package" might include a receiver hitch and place to plug in the wiring, the 2019 GMC Sierra goes far beyond expectations with the ProGrade Trailering System, which includes hitch guidance through the Hitch View rear camera feed to the in-dash touchscreen, hitch area lighting via a tailgate-mounted lamp that shines directly down on the hitch, an integrated trailer brake controller, and automatic electric parking brake that applies the parking brake every time you shift into park, keeping the truck from rolling forward or backward once you've got the hitch and trailer ball in perfect alignment. 4) The All-New GMC Trailering App: Working in conjunction with the 2019 GMC Sierra's Infotainment screen, the smartphone-based GMC Trailering App features a number of handy features that make towing a trailer easier and safer than ever, including pre-departure checklists, a trailer light test that allows you to stand at the rear of the trailer and check to make sure the turn signals, brake lights and emergency flashers are working before you hit the road, remote trailer tire pressure monitoring, and a trailer theft alert that activates the truck's lights and horn while sending an alert to your cell phone if the trailer is disconnected while your 2019 GMC Sierra is parked and locked. That's using technology to work smarter, and it's only on the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. 5) Adaptive Ride Control: Though there was a day when driving a truck meant suffering with a spine-jarring ride on rough roads, the 2019 GMC Sierra shows those days are in the past with Adaptive Ride Control, which offers sedan-like comfort while still delivering the payload capacity and control you need. Built on the same technology that underpins modern race cars, the system electronically monitors acceleration, braking, cornering and trailering and then adjusts the suspension's active damping shock absorbers up to every two milliseconds for ultimate ride quality, 6) The all-new Traction Select System: there is no one-size-fits-all situation when it comes to conditions and terrain, so the 2019 GMC Sierra is ready for anything with the all-new Traction Select System, which tailors the drivetrain to meet the needs of the moment, adjusting the Sierra's transmission shifting, throttle response and StabiliTrak traction control for optimum control and grip under challenging situations. The Traction Select system features five modes which can be selected from inside the cab on the fly, including Touring, Snow, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul modes to help keep you in command and in control, even when the going gets tricky. 7) The most-powerful gasoline V8 engine in any full-size truck: When the going gets tough, there's no substitute for brute force horsepower, and the 2019 GMC Sierra delivers with the available 6.2-Liter V8, the industry's largest-displacement and most powerful V8 engine, with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of tow-hungry torque on tap. The cutting-edge power plant includes the all-new Dynamic Fuel Management Dynamic Fuel Management, which offers industry-first cylinder deactivation that allows the 6.2 liter V8 to operate in 17 different firing patterns based on power needs, with as little as two cylinders activated for ultimate efficiency when power demands are low. Paired with GMC's all-new 10 speed automatic, it's an unbeatable combination. Regal

REGAL WILL JOIN BUICK'S ULTRA-PREMIUM AVENIR LINE FOR 2019 | MCLARTY DANIEL BUICK GMC

Buick recently announced that the Buick Regal will be elevated to their ultra-premium Avenir line for 2019, joining the Buick Enclave and LaCrosse in the exclusive top-tier trim package. The flagship models in the Buick lineup, Avenir cars receive luxury amenities and design details inside and out, including real wood accents, a laundry list of high end standard options, and special badging, wheel and trim packages on the exterior to set them apart. "Avenir" is a French word meaning "Future," and was first used by Buick in connection with the super-luxurious Buick Avenir concept car introduced at the 2015 North American Auto Show. In a press release by Buick hyping the introduction of the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir, the company said that since the Enclave Avenir was introduced last fall, the line has sold faster than all other Enclave trim packages combined, comprising a full 20 percent of the model's total sales in the U.S. Likewise, the LaCrosse Avenir is selling at a pace 70 percent faster than other LaCrosse trim packages. With 50 percent of all Buick Regal sales being Regals outfitted with the top-tier trim package, the company expects the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir to experience a similar sales bump. more "Avenir sales have exceeded our expectations," said Phil Brook, vice president of Buick and GMC Marketing. "Buick customers value the exclusive styling, premium features and convenient experience Avenir provides, and we are excited to extend that successful formula to Regal." In the release, Buick announced that the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir will receive Buick's first Infotainment System that can connect to cloud storage on the internet, allowing for the use of embedded, customizable apps that the company hopes will enhance how customers interact with their cars. The system allows for the use of individualized profiles if the car is used by several drivers, along with available navigation, voice recognition, and more. Owners will also be about to take their personalized settings with them by porting their personal profile into any compatible GM vehicle. Other Avenir-only details that will be available on the 2019 Buick Regal Avenir include Whisper Beige interior theme with real Ebony accents, diamond-quilted front seats, first row headrests embroidered with the Avenir logo, and Avenir-etched sill plates. A nine-speaker Bose audio system is standard. An interior theme in "Ebony" is also available. When it comes to exterior styling, the 2019 Regal Avenir will feature a three-dimensional mesh upper grille, Avenir script badges on the front doors, and 19-inch Pearl Nickel rims. Under the hood will be Buick's 250-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, backed by a nine-speed automatic transmission. Pricing on the new 2019 Buick Regal Avenir will not be announced until early fall 2018, when new models arrive at the dealerships.

FIVE ROAD TRIP-WORTHY ARKANSAS BARBECUE RESTAURANTS | MCLARTY DANIEL BUICK GMC

From catfish to cornbread, tamales to cheese dip (the latter of which was invented here, by the way), the culinary scene of Arkansas has a lot of things going for it and enough diversity to keep even the most persnickety palates interested. One of the best things going for foodies in The Natural State, however, is our absolute embarrassment of riches when it comes to great barbecue. Though Memphis may be better known for barbecue, it's really an artform in Arkansas, with every little barbecue cafe, diner and hole in the wall presenting a unique flavor adventure. Seen below are some of our favorite Arkansas haunts when we get in the mood for a barbecue road trip, every one of them dishing up 'cue that is worth the drive. Speaking of driving, if you need a great new or used car to get you there, stop in today... more at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC! With hundreds of great cars on the lot, we're sure to have the one that meets your needs, at a price that will leave you plenty of scratch left over for road trips and a racks of ribs. Stop in today for a test drive, and read on for our picks for the most road trip worthy barbecue in the state! Click here to browse our full selection of new Buick and GMC vehicles Stubby's Bar-B-Q 3024 Central Avenue Hot Springs Way back in 1952, Richard "Stubby" Stubblefield opened Stubby's Bar-B-Q with a secret blend of smoking wood, a signature sweet sauce. Thought Stubby's eventually sold in 1977 to the Dunkel family, the 'cue is still living up to Stubby's high standards all these years later, and has since become a Hot Springs institution only rivaled in popularity locally by the legendary McClard's across town. Located across from Oaklawn race track, Stubby's delights with huge portions and -- unlike a lot of simpler barbecue restaurants in the state -- they serve pretty much anything that oinks, clucks or moos, with pulled pork and pork ribs, chicken, beef and ham on the menu, plus excellent sides. Topped with a little of their signature sauce, it's a real 'cue destination. Whole Hog Barbecue 2516 Cantrell Road Little Rock Though the stereotypical barbecue joint is a leaning shack on a two-laner out in the sticks, some of the finest barbecue in Arkansas can be found right in the bustling heart of the Capitol City, at Little Rock's Whole Hog Cafe. Now franchised all over the place (including a location in London, England), Whole Hog was founded in 2000 as a small food trailer by four friends, who built their reputations on entering and winning some of the most demanding barbecue competitions in the world, including multiple wins at the legendary Memphis in May Barbecue Cooking Contest. Today, the original location of the restaurant on Cantrell Road is decorated with the dozens of trophies the Whole Hog founders have won for their succulent 'cue, with a menu full of crazy-good pulled pork, chicken, sausage, ribs and and truly delicious sides on the menu, and six sauces on every table, even though the perfectly smoked meat is so delicious you really won't need it. For dessert, be sure to get one of their huge, fudgy brownies. They're to die for. Sims Barbecue 2415 Broadway St. Little Rock Another Little Rock institution, Little Rock's Sims Barbecue has been around since 1937, though it has since moved from its original, crusty location on 36th Street. Even though it's in a strip mall now, it's still appropriately old-school, dishing up some of the state's best barbecue, including huge slabs of ribs, pork shoulder (with the meat laboriously chopped with a huge cleaver instead of pulled, as is more common in Arkansas), chicken smoked sausage and bologna, and sliced beef brisket, which is paired with delicious sides, including greens with cornbread, baked beans, and a nice slate of excellent homemade pies and cakes. Another great old-school touch: they only serve white bread. The real star of the show, however, is the sauce: a thin, sweet, mustard-and-vinegar concoction that bears a lot more resemblance to the sauce you'll find in the Carolinas than anything local and which makes the smoked meats positively sing with flavor. While you're there, be sure to drop a few quarters in the jukebox. Sims has one of the best in town. Jones Bar-B-Q Diner 219 West Louisiana Street Marianna There are Arkansas barbecue joints and then there are the legendary joints so deservedly famous that you can't really call yourself a true Arkie unless you've had a plate of grub there. One of those places is Marianna's Jones Bar-B-Q Diner. In business. for over 100 years and still owned by the same family, Jones Bar-B-Q Diner had a much-deserved reputation as the best barbecue in the barbecue-heavy Arkansas Delta long before 2012, when New York City's James Beard Foundation bestowed one of their rare and coveted James Beard Awards for culinary excellence on the tiny, cinderblock restaurant with an open pit out back. Still slow-smoked the old fashioned way over fruit wood, the barbecue at Jones Bar-B-Q Diner lives up to the hype, with nice-sized portions of perfect pork, served with a house-made cole slaw, Wonder bread, and a vinegar based red sauce. One bite, and you'll know why they've got that Beard Award hanging on the wall. Ralph's Pink Flamingo BBQ 2801 Old Greenwood Road Fort Smith Though restaurants on the Arkansas side of the Mississippi Delta scoop up a lot of the state's barbecue love, there's great barbecue from border to border in the Natural State. Case in point, Ralph's Pink Flamingo BBQ in Fort Smith. Established in 1998, the barbecue at Ralph's Pink Flamingo has since won over 150 cooking competition awards. Once you eat there, you'll know exactly how they did it. The menu has a little something for everyone (they've even got salads for the vegetarians), including delicious pork shoulder served sliced or pulled, sliced pork loin, beef brisket (also served sliced or chopped), spare ribs, baby back ribs and their delectable smoked sausage that won the category at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue in Kansas City. Really hungry? Splurge on their "Judge's Platter," which features sizable portions of smoked brisket and pulled pork, three baby back ribs, two pieces of sausage, bread and your choice of who sides. We don't know about you, but writing about all that great Arkansas barbecue has got us hungry for some ribs and pulled pork! If that's you as well, get out there and explore the Natural State of Food in that great new or used car, truck or SUV you just bought from McLarty Daniel Buick GMC. With hundreds of vehicles on the lot and ready to roll, we're sure to have the one that meets your needs, at a price you can afford. Just be sure to bring along some extra napkins. Wouldn't want to get barbecue sauce on those clean new seats! Click here for directions to McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, or click here to contact our dealership.

To learn more before you get in touch, read on for the differences between these three great 2018 Regals from Buick! more 2018 Buick Regal Sportback One of the best-ever expressions of the classic American sedan, the 2018 Buick Regal Sportback is the company's flagship luxury model, featuring a long, arched roof with "hatchback" style decklid that gives the Regal Sportback its name. Those beautiful lines are accentuated with distinctive satin steel accents, chrome exhaust tips and other tasteful details. Depending on the trim package you choose, the Regal Sportback is available with several wheel options, from 17 to 19 inches in diameter. Under the hood is the fuel efficient 2.0-liter turbo four cylinder putting out 250 horsepower. That power is sent where it's needed by Buick's available Intelligent all-wheel drive system with active twin clutches that monitor the traction at all wheels and sends power to the wheels with the most slippage. 2018 Buick Regal GS For those who want a little more spice in their drive, there's the 2018 Buick Regal GS, a true sports sedan with race-inspired touches everywhere you look. Standard equipment under the hood of the GS is the 310 horsepower V6 backed by a quick shifting 9-speed automatic. Underneath is Buick's intelligent all-wheel drive, with special GS-specific 19-inch alloy wheels and high-performance Brembo brakes. Backing up the brawn with beauty are a number of GS-only exterior and interior touches, including a special GS grille and badging up front, flanked by large, functional air intakes that funnel cool air to the brakes. In the rear, an integrated rear spoiler and dual exhaust tips show that the Regal GS means business, while inside, there are race-inspired touches like aluminum racing pedals, a flat-bottomed racing wheel with integrated controls, a reconfigurable 8-inch performance gauge cluster and high-back bucket seats with "GS" embroidery and heavy lumbar support to keep you planted when the going gets twisty. 2018 Buick Regal TourX If anybody tells you the great American sportswagon is a thing of the past, tell them to check out the 2018 Buick Regal TourX. Sleek, low and lovely, the Buick Regal TourX is visually similar to the Buick Sportback, but includes a long rear compartment with a sloping roofline to kill off some of the boxiness and bulk that has long marred wagon design. On top, functional, load bearing roof rails and crossbars are ready to take you and your canoe, mountain bike or kayak out to find adventure, while a panoramic moonroof over the front and rear seats lets in the sky. In the rear, a hands-free power liftgate can be operated with a wave of your foot under a bumper-mounted sensor, which comes in handy when you're loading bulky items. Black molding accentuates the Buick Regal TourX's wheel wells, while special 18-inch aluminum wheels fill those lovely arches. Inside, premium, soft-touch materials are everywhere, while Buick's patented Quiettuning active noise cancellation shuts out the world for a uniquely quiet cabin. Lay down the rear seats, and you open up 73.5 cubic feet of cargo space! Whichever Regal you choose, you're getting the result of over 100 years of constant engineering and design upgrades from one of the most legendary auto makers of all time: Buick. Full of great performance, incredible luxury and surprising value, no matter what you need from your Buick Regal, there's definitely a Buick Regal to fit the bill. Still can't decide? 2019 GMC Sierra

FIVE INCREDIBLE FEATURES OF THE ALL-NEW 2019 GMC SIERRA! | MCLARTY DANIEL BUICK GMC

It's always an exciting moment when our favorite truck brand turns to a fresh sheet of paper and starts a top-to-bottom redesign. Our favorite truck brand being GMC -- which has long been known for their innovations in pickup design, technology and styling --  we've been like kids waiting on Christmas for over a year now, itching to see what the big brains in the GMC engineering and design departments have up their sleeves. While the new 2019 GMC Sierra won't be on dealer lots for a bit, the details have been released, including a boatload of super cool features you'll only find on the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500! Read on for more details about some of the amazing features and technology that make the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 not only one of a kind, but the best pickup GMC has ever built! more Click here to shop our selection of GMC Sierra 1500 trucks The Multi-Pro Tailgate: There was a time when the only thing a truck tailgate was good for was something to sit on when it was open, and something to keep the watermelons from rolling out when it was closed. The 2019 GMC Sierra's exclusive Multi-Pro Tailgate does a lot more than that, though! Six different positions, to be exact, and six different ways to work smarter, not harder. Not only does the tailgate fold down into a fully-functional set of steps that can support up to 300 pounds, it can act as an intermediate-height load stop, a standing work surface, and much more! Carbon Pro Bed: While other makes tout their use of steel or aluminum in their bed walls and floors, the 2019 GMC Sierra makes the leap into the 21st century with the exclusive available CarbonPro bed, made of super-high-strength carbon fiber. That's right: the same material being used in high-strength aerospace and race car design is now being used in the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500, creating a bed floor, fender wells and bed walls that are 62 pounds lighter than steel but virtually unbreakable and undentable while making the scourge of rust an impossibility, no matter how hard you use your 2019 GMC Sierra. Multi-Color Heads Up Display: When you're rolling 70 miles an hour on the freeway, you're covering a full football field every second. At speeds like that, you only need to take your eyes off the road for a moment for tragedy to strike. Keeping you safer on the road is the 2019 GMC Sierra's new multi-color 3-by-7-inch heads up display. The same technology used by jet fighter pilots, the system projects crucial information like your speed directly onto one corner of the windshield, allowing you to keep your attention where it belongs: on the road ahead. All New 10-speed Transmission: While there was a time when the only 10-speeds around were fancy bicycles piloted by people in spandex pants, modern automotive designers and engineers are packing more gears into automatic transmissions for good reason: a greater range of gears allows your new 2019 GMC Sierra to stay in the "sweet spot" longer, maximizing torque and horsepower when towing, hauling, or merging into traffic. Paired with the advanced 6.2-liter V8, the all-new 10 speed automatic in the 2019 GMC Sierra not only helps you tow and haul more, it lets the Sierra find more fuel efficiency, even with a big V8 The all-new Sierra AT4: GMC is always pushing the limits of beautiful design, and in the all-new 2019 Sierra AT4, they've managed to make the beautiful lines of the 2019 Sierra even more striking, with distinctive "black chrome" accents and deep-black monochrome paint. More than just a pretty face, the 2019 Sierra AT4 is GMC's flagship for off-road toughness, with their exclusive Traction Select System, and a special feature in the exclusive multi-color heads up display that keeps you posted on the incline when ascending or descending steep terrain. The 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 won't be on dealer lots until late this year, but we're stoked to see them roll off the transports here at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC! Packed with beautiful design and incredible new safety, performance, economy and technology features, it's shaping up to be the best GMC truck ever! NWA CHampionship

THREE GREAT THINGS TO DO DURING NWA CHAMPIONSHIP LPGA TOURNAMENT WEEK!

The annual Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship LPGA tournament is back this month and bigger than ever, not only bringing in some of the world's best golfers to compete for a $2 million dollar purse, but also serving as the centerpiece of a week-long celebration of the sights, sounds and flavors of Northwest Arkansas. McLarty Daniel Auto Group is proud to serve Northwest Arkansas, and proud to help sponsor this great and worthwhile event. We hope to see you there! This year, events associated with the Walmart NWA Championship will be held from June 18-24 at various locations, including downtown Bentonville and the Walmart AMP amphitheater. The official tournament will run from June 22-24 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. For more information, or to purchase tickets, click here to visit their website more Watching incredible golfers show their stuff isn't the only thing going on during the NWA Championship. Since the tournament was founded in 2007, it has really grown into a festival atmosphere, with plenty of things to see and do during the week. Read on for just a few of the things you can get up to during tournament week, even if watching golf isn't your thing. 1) EAT!: A huge draw of NWA Championship week is Bite NW Arkansas. Now in its fourth year, the three-day celebration of the culinary landscape of Northwest Arkansas will run from 6 to 9 p.m. nightly from June 20-22 at 8th Street Market in downtown Bentonville. A safari of the considerable culinary delights of the region, each night of Bite NW Arkansas will feature a different theme, with chefs from the region's best restaurants dishing up both hard-won wisdom and delicious fare from their kitchens. Tickets are $30 for each night, with proceeds benefiting the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. They usually sell out quickly, so hurry! 2) HELP!: One in three women will face cancer in her lifetime, and the same treatments that can save a woman's life can also make her hair fall out, potentially leaving her feeling like the face she sees in the mirror is no longer quite her own. Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program helps women battling cancer keep up the fight by donating wigs made of real, donated hair from all over America, including at the NWA Championship. They collected over 1,700 ponytails nationwide in 2017! If your hair can be pulled into a ponytail of 8 inches or more, take a snip for the team and donate your hair at the NWA Championship! Don't worry, you'll grow more, and you'll know your tresses are going to the best of good causes! 3) TWIST!: Many top athletes, like many of the women in the LPGA tour, swear by yoga for conditioning, strength training, and mental wellness benefits. For all those reasons, yoga is getting a spotlight at the NWA Championship with the Yoga on the Green event, to be held starting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 24. Completely free with registration at the NWA Championship website, the class will be led at the Hub479 structure on the 17th hole at Pinnacle Country Club, with instructor Allisson Kublanov of Bee Well Yoga in Rogers. After the class, participants can enjoy complimentary mimosas, have a chance to win raffle items from Lululemon, and more. All skill levels are welcome, and the first 100 registered get a free gift from Youtheory. Being an active part of the Northwest Arkansas Community is important to us here at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, and to the McLarty Daniel family of dealerships. We're proud to be a sponsor of the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship LPGA event, and we'll be right there cheering on the competitors as they work to be crowned champion. We hope you are too. PULLING A TRAILER WITH THE GMC SIERRA 1500

The new GMC Sierra for 2022 includes a number of new features and technologies to make towing even easier for owners. We want to inform you about them at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC in Bentonville, serving Centerton, Bella Vista, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, Pea Ridge, Springdale, and Rogers, Arkansas! more CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR CURRENT INVENTORY OF 2022 GMC SIERRA 1500 MODELS When a trailer is connected and the turn signal is turned on, the Trailer Length Indicator appears on the truck's central infotainment screen. The driver can readily observe which cars are present in their blind area and if there is room for both the truck and trailer in the opposite lane by showing a red overlay two times the length of the suitable trailer on the screen. It’s a brilliant piece of applied technology that will lower blood pressure and keep everyone safer when towing! The Jack-Knife Warning is a system that monitors the location of a suitable trailer in relation to the vehicle and sends out an alert if a jack-knife situation is suspected. With some high-quality monitoring, you can keep your head in the game with this useful information. The Cargo Bed Image upgrade includes the Cargo Bed Zoom View and Bed Hitch Guidance features, which give a rearward-facing view of the vehicle to aid in aligning and connecting a gooseneck/fifth-wheel trailer. All three of these unique applications of onboard technology help experienced drivers while also adding a new degree of complexity to the instruction of novice drivers on safe towing tactics. Seeing how a trailer tracks during different moves helps everyone stay focused and ready for what's coming next. Owners of GMC Sierras demand and expect class-leading safety technologies and comfort in order to tow anything they need to pull. It doesn't matter if you're towing off-road toys, a boat, an RV, or a trailer. The GMC Sierra 1500 and GMC Sierra HD series will include these new features. Come in now and take a test drive in the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500!
