It’s made up of a primary gate and a smaller inner gate, hinged within the main gate. By manipulating these two panels in various combinations, the MultiPro Tailgate can transform and serve several different purposes. The tailgate was developed with feedback from pickup owners to maximize its functionality and durability. You can open it using the release button on the tailgate itself, using the instrument panel button, or activating the remote key fob. It also uses a torsional spring and a damper, meaning it can be lifted effortlessly and lowered gently. Check out some of the ways you can best utilize the GMC MultiPro Tailgate: Load Stop (Primary Gate and Inner Gate) When you're transporting longer items such as lumber, bikes, or kayaks, the MultiPro Tailgate's load stop feature is incredibly useful. By unlatching the inner gate panel and folding it upright, you create a vertical barrier that prevents items from sliding out of the bed. The GMC Sierra’s two-tier loading design divides the bed into two sections, which is handy for separating cargo. The MultiPro Tailgate further supports this function, allowing the inside panel of the inner gate to unfold into an upper-tier load stop for extended cargo. Check Out the First GMC Sierra EV Full-Width Step Accessing the cargo bed has never been easier! By releasing and lowering both the primary and inner gates, the inner panel can be unlatched and folded down to create a sturdy full-width bed step. This step is 48 inches wide and capable of supporting up to 375 pounds. There’s also a fold-out hand grab on the cargo box wall, which provides extra support when entering the bed. Outdoor Tunes For those who love outdoor activities, the MultiPro Tailgate is perfect for camping or tailgating parties. It offers an optional 100-watt exterior audio system by KICKER, which is integrated directly into the inner panel of the tailgate. The system includes two 4-inch coaxial drivers, a compact amplifier, controls, and a USB port for charging devices. It also supports Bluetooth and is weather-resistant! Don’t worry about zapping your battery — the KICKER audio system operates independently from your truck. It’s designed with a low current draw so you can enjoy hours of music, and it includes a tilt switch that automatically powers down the speakers when the inner gate step is folded shut. High-End Car Features That Are Surprisingly Affordable Easy Access No more awkwardly stretching across your tailgate to grab your cargo. The MultiPro Tailgate makes accessing the truck bed more efficient and less strenuous by lowering its inner gate. This feature allows you to stand 7 to 9 inches closer to the truck bed floor than a conventional tailgate. Inner Gate Work Surface The MultiPro Tailgate also functions as a practical work surface. Lowering just the inner gate creates a level surface at a comfortable height, ideal for whatever tasks you may run into. New GMC SUV equipped with Intellibeam headlights

WHAT ARE INTELLIBEAM HEADLIGHTS?

“Blinding Lights” might be a bop when it comes on the radio, but blinding lights are not fun when they come through your windshield! Every driver has experienced the pain of LED high beams wrecking their retinas or the guilt of unintentionally blinding another driver. At McLarty Daniel Buick GMC in Bentonville, Arkansas, we’re all too familiar with this common driving dilemma. That’s exactly why we are so proud of Intellibeam Automatic Headlamp Control, one of the newest safety features found in select GMC and Buick vehicles. This cutting-edge technology is designed to improve safety for both drivers and surrounding traffic by optimizing the use of your high beams. Find a New Vehicle Equipped with Intellibeam How It Works Automatic headlamp control, as the name suggests, means that the high beams... more of your vehicle can turn on and off automatically. Unlike traditional high beams, which must be manually switched on, automatic high beams are the default setting. Intellibeam utilizes a sophisticated sensor that continually scans the surrounding environment for lights from nearby vehicles. This sensor can detect various sources of light, including the taillights of vehicles moving in the same direction and the headlights of vehicles in oncoming lanes. When the sensor detects other vehicles in proximity, it immediately turns off the high beams. In the absence of other vehicles nearby, Intellibeam will automatically switch the high beams back on to enhance visibility for the driver. This means you can enjoy the benefits of high beams without the hassle of constantly toggling them on and off. GM Super Cruise: Revolutionary Driver Assistance Using Intellibeam in Your GMC or Buick Vehicle If your Buick or GMC vehicle comes equipped with Intellibeam, enabling this handy feature is a straightforward process. 1. Ensure that your vehicle's engine is running, and the headlamps are on. 2. Set the headlamp control knob to Auto or manually turn on the low beam headlamps. 3. Place the turn signal lever in the neutral position. 4. Depending on your specific vehicle model, you can activate Intellibeam using one of the following methods: Press a designated button on your turn signal lever. Push the turn signal lever forward and back to the neutral position. Use the infotainment system (select the Virtual Controls app, tap Lights, and turn Auto High Beams on). 5. When Intellibeam is successfully enabled, you will see a green "A" icon displayed in the instrument panel. A blue icon will appear in the instrument panel alongside the green "A" icon when Intellibeam activates the high beams. Learn More About Buick Technology Intellibeam will now automatically detect lighting conditions and other vehicles, turning the high beams on and off as needed! This feature is dependent on your vehicle's speed, as Intellibeam only activates high beams above 25 mph. Once your high beams are automatically activated, they will stay on until: The system detects an approaching vehicle's headlamps. The system detects another vehicle's taillamps in front of your vehicle. Exterior lighting becomes bright enough that high-beam headlamps are not required. Your vehicle's speed drops below 12 mph. The turn signal lever is moved forward to the high beam position or the Flash-to-Pass feature is used. Factors that May Interfere with Intellibeam While taking advantage of this convenient feature, you may encounter a few situations that prevent Intellibeam from working properly. Here are some conditions that could interfere with your vehicle’s high beam sensor: The other vehicle's lamps are missing, damaged, obstructed from view, or otherwise undetected. The other vehicle's lamps are covered with dirt, snow, or road spray. The other vehicle's lamps cannot be detected due to dense exhaust, smoke, fog, snow, road spray, mist, or other airborne obstructions. Your vehicle's windshield is dirty, cracked, or obstructed by something that blocks the view of the light sensor. Your vehicle is loaded in such a way that the front end points upward, causing the light sensor to aim high and not detect headlamps and taillamps. You are driving on winding or hilly roads. Intellibeam Automatic Headlamp Control is a remarkable safety feature that benefits your vehicle as well as other drivers. The ease of enabling and using Intellibeam makes it a valuable addition to the new vehicle selection at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Exclusive for the Acadia AT4 is the Active Torque Control AWD System. The Acadia receives all the power from the vehicle to the front wheels. When the front wheels begin to slip, the system automatically shifts to its all-wheel-drive (AWD) mode which sends the additional torque to the rear wheels. For controlled and smooth declines, GMC added Hill Descent Control, making the AT4 GMCs even cooler. This system uses antilock braking and traction control to minimize slipping and sliding when going down a hill. The GMC also stays in lower gears giving the driver more control of the vehicle. The AT4 GMCs, excluding the Canyon AT4, also have off-road traction control. This preset driving mode is tailored to handle different driving situations where terrain or weather may be a factor. STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM NOW WE'RE HERE: HUMMER

Is there another vehicle that can claim it was brought to life by an actor who then became governor? We don’t think so! If you’re interested in the Hummer, keep reading as we at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC in Bentonville, Arkansas break down this vehicle's journey from the front lines to the present as one of the most highly anticipated EVs on the market. Hummer History The Hummer began its journey in 1981 when it hit the front lines for the U.S. Army. The Hummer had to meet a high standard as a high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV). In 1992, General Motors began selling this vehicle to the public and branded it, Hummer. Fast forward many years and the Hummer is now a massive electric vehicle (EV) pickup and SUV that has the most advanced technology, like its ability to crab walk. more In the early ‘90s, Arnold Schwarzenegger was on the set of his latest movie, Kindergarten Cop. During one day of shooting, a pack of military Humvees drove by as part of a convoy. Schwarzenegger was impressed with the machine and needed one. After that, he contacted AM General, the manufacturers of the Humvee, and insisted that the automakers introduce a consumer version. In 1992 the Hummer drove its way to the consumer spotlight and it was a huge hit! Arnold Schwarzenegger was even the first owner of the new version, the Hummer H1. After years of production and success, the Hummer was discontinued in 2010. Schwarzenegger decided he wanted an electric version of the Hummer in 2017 so he converted a gas Hummer into an electric Hummer. At that time, fuel prices were super high and it seemed the automotive industry was starting to make a shift towards electric vehicles. Schwarzenegger wanted an eco-friendly clean energy vehicle and that is exactly what we got. The Hummer is now back! The GMC Hummer EV lineup was first introduced in October 2020 and it was made available in 2022. This lineup includes a Hummer EV pickup truck and a Hummer EV SUV. The new Hummer is even more capable than the gas-guzzling version from previous years. We expect Arnold Schwarzenegger to be one of the first owners of the Hummer EV as well! Learn about the Hummer EV Today the Hummer EV has power, capability and a sweet interior, whether you choose to get the Hummer EV as a pickup truck or an SUV. It made a big splash at the 2021 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, to say the least. The GMC Hummer EV has three electric motors that can produce as much as 1,000 horsepower and can go from 0-60 mph in around three seconds. The interior is extremely luxurious and high-class. The Hummer EVs come equipped with everything from a touchscreen display to a Bose audio system. It has an Infinity Roof that consists of removable panels to give you a view of the sky right from your seat.. Whether you want to be fully enclosed in your Hummer or remove the top panels to hear the sounds of the outdoors and the three roaring electric motors, this machine can be whatever you want it to be. One of the highlights of the Hummer EV is UltraVision. It offers 18 camera views on the pickup and 17 on the SUV with included HD surround vision. There are even waterproof forward and rear-facing cameras underneath the vehicle so you can traverse the rough terrain easier with no hidden surprises. Another great highlight is the Crab Walk. The Crab Walk is where the four-wheel steering allows the rear wheels to turn up to 10 degrees in or out of phase with the front wheels. This lets the rear wheels swivel in the opposite direction at low speeds so the Hummer can make tighter turns. At McLarty Daniel, we have complete dedication to you, our customers.
