First-ever 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel in a GMC half-ton: Owners of Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks have known for years about the rock solid reliability and power of GM’s Duramax turbo-diesel engines. Now the 2020 GMC Sierra is getting in on the action, with the available, all-new 3.0-liter Duramax inline six-cylinder turbo-diesel, producing 277 horsepower and a whopping 460 lb.-ft. of tow-friendly torque, with peak torque in the extreme low end of the power range, where you need it most when towing.

All-new 10-Speed Automatic: New for 2020, GMC is now offering the cutting-edge 10-speed automatic transmission in GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with the 5.3-liter V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management.
