Summer is here, and that means it’s baseball season! Load up your car, and head to the stadium for peanuts and crackerjacks to enjoy America’s pastime. From the crack of the bat to the cheers of the crowd, these are where unforgettable moments unfold. Whether you’re in Central or Northwest Arkansas, there are great opportunities to enjoy the sport with the state’s two minor league teams and we at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC want to highlight what each park has to offer!

Arkansas Naturals: Springdale, AR
Just outside Fayetteville lies Arvest Ballpark, home of the Arkansas Naturals minor league baseball team! This team is the Double-A affiliate for the Kansas City Royals and competes in the Texas League. Their home park has plenty of the standard ballpark fun and is a true gem for players and fans…

If you plan to attend and watch the game with friends, you’re in luck because the Bud Light Home Run Porch offers picnic-style seating. Single and double suite rentals are also available for spectacular spectating with air conditioning, a private restroom, and indoor and outdoor seating.

Arkansas Travelers: North Little Rock, AR
Dickey-Stephens Park just outside downtown Little Rock is home to the Arkansas Travelers! This location is right across the scenic Arkansas River and has breathtaking views of the downtown skyline past right field. The park provides a cozy and intimate atmosphere to enjoy the game. Its state-of-the-art facilities and well-maintained field create a perfect setting for baseball enthusiasts. If you’re waiting for the game to start, there’s plenty to do around the park. The Historic Travelers Baseball Museum is free to enter and full of baseball memorabilia, including photographs and hats to celebrate and commemorate baseball in Arkansas. If it’s a hot day at the stadium, Otey’s Splash Pad is open for the little ones looking to cool off! Admission is only $5, and kids can access the Kidz Korner playground once they’re inside.
