Buick Navigation’s capabilities include driving directions to your next location, navigating junctions, and even getting recommendations for places to visit using the handy Points of Interest function. The navigation system may be used with either the touchscreen or voice instructions, both of which are useful. If your Buick comes with navigation, you’ll want to know how to use it to make use of all of its capabilities.

With access from your main screen, you can select a location and your vehicle’s primary screen…

will provide driving directions. You may also choose whether or not you want the directions to be sent to you in audio format using voice commands. The navigation system also includes a mapping function that gives you a visual representation of your directions.

Buick Navigation is available to provide you with directions to your next location. If you’re traveling somewhere new, you may quickly type on the touchscreen, just as you would on your phone. You can choose an address from a list of places you’ve previously visited if you’re traveling to a repeat destination. You may also use your car to look up people’s addresses in your phone’s contact book. Use the touchscreen to acquire directions by pressing the “destination” button on the map screen. You may also utilize voice command to navigate to your next destination by using the “voice command” button, which allows you to input a partial or complete address if you’re going somewhere new.

It’s simple to set up speech recognition technology with your navigation system if you wish to utilize your navigation system exclusively through voice commands. All you have to do is press the “Push to Talk” button on the steering wheel of your Buick. You’ll hear a beeping sound, followed by a spoken order for “Navigation.” Simply tell your Buick where you want to go when you hear the voice command, and it will give you instructions.
