IN REVIEW: THE NEW 2022 GMC ACADIA

GMC is shaking things up a bit with the 2022 Acadia by making a few refreshing changes to the SUV. The base SL trim level and its 2.5-liter inline-four engine have been done away with, meaning the SLE now serves as the base Acadia. SLT, AT4, and Denali trim levels remain, and there are a few new standard features.

ACADIA TRIMS AND PACKAGES: The SLE and SLT trims come with a 228-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. A 310-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 and all-wheel drive are optional on the SLT along with new 18- and 20-inch wheel designs The 2022 Acadia has additional appearance packages, like the Elevation Edition which is loaded with awesome exterior features like a black grille insert and surround. ACADIA SAFETY: Driver-assistance features that were optional now come as standard equipment, such as the GMC Pro Safety Plus advanced safety system which includes automated emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlamps, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist. Then there is the six-inch color Head-Up Display that projects key information directly onto the windshield so you can keep your eyes on what’s ahead.

ACADIA INTERIOR: The comfortable 2022 Acadia interior is designed to be pleasing to the eye with most intuitive controls within reach of the driver providing information at a glance.
