A bloodhound at a dog park in Northwest Arkansas

Northwest Arkansas boasts some of the loveliest natural scenery in the state, with outstanding amenities like parks and hiking trails scattered across the region. Humans have it good in NWA, but local organizations and groups didn’t forget about man’s best friend! Dog parks are seemingly everywhere in this part of the state, which is great for dog owners. These areas provide physical and mental stimulation for dogs as they meet other dogs and new humans. If you are a dog owner looking for dog parks in the Bentonville area, we at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC have chosen some of our favorites!

K9 Corral: Bella Vista, AR
Managed by the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, the Bella Vista K9 Corral dog park is a beautiful grassy field with a one-acre space for large dogs and a smaller area for tiny pups.

Both parts of the park are surrounded by a metal gate, with the central portion containing trees, shrubs, and benches across the enclosure. Toys are available in these spaces as well as a water hose located in the smaller pup area.

The Railyard: Rogers, AR
The Railyard is the place to be for the bikers in NWA! The park’s central amenity is the dirt jump bike park for bikers of all skill levels. It also has a playground for the kiddos, an amphitheater, a 1.5-mile loop trail, and (most importantly) a dog park! This park clearly has exercise in mind, allowing the whole family to walk, bike, and even rollerblade. It’s a can’t-miss dog park in Rogers, AR!

Bark Park: Bentonville, AR
The Bark Park is a Bentonville dog park that delivers a wonderful off-leash area for dogs and dog lovers! With a 1.3-acre site for off-leash play, the park’s main objective is to promote dog socialization, exercise, and responsible dog ownership via events and programs. The fenced-in area has sections for bigger and smaller dogs, as well as an agility course. Water fountains, sitting benches, and restrooms are also available on the grounds.

Orchards Park: Bentonville, AR
Orchards Park is across the road from Crystal Bridges, with walking paths, a pavilion, an amphitheater, and beautiful landscaping. The goal of this location was to be a premier passive park, and its dog park is the newest addition to the grounds. This canine-focused area splits into two separate sections for larger and smaller dogs, each with its own entrance and plenty of space for your pups to run around.

Osage Park: Bentonville, AR
Whether you’re looking for new activities to try or if you want to walk and relax, Osage Park has a great lineup of activities for everyone! Let your pooch romp through the dog park’s two-acre space while the rest of the family shoots arrows at the Quiver Archery Range, picks up a game of Pickleball, journeys through the Wetland Boardwalk, or enjoys some good eats at the food trucks. Live music is featured frequently at this location for you to enjoy as you explore the area!

Bentonville Brewing Dog Park: Bentonville, AR
Are you searching for your next hangout spot that your dog can also enjoy? Let your pups play while you grab a craft beer with friends at Bentonville Brewing Company’s dog park! This fenced-in area is an excellent spot for Fido to run and roam freely; however, your four-legged friend is welcome to chill with you on the patio as you explore the food truck offerings at this lively spot.

IAMS Dog Park: Fayetteville, AR
On the west side of Bryce Davis Park’s 26 acres lies the IAMS Dog Park! This off-leash area spans three acres and has picnic tables, a pavilion, benches, and a space for smaller dogs. Bryce Davis Park also offers activities like a playground, picnic area, a paved trail, and more!

Dog parks are an excellent option for dog owners looking for something new for their pup! Visiting locations like these socializes them and allows them to meet new canine friends while simultaneously letting you explore new activities, foods, and the outdoors!
