GMC is bringing back the Hummer in a big way by offering it as two electric super-vehicles that still provide the outrageous performance and styling we’ve come to know. Introducing the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and the GMC Hummer EV SUV! The Hummer EV Pickup will debut in 2022 and the Hummer EV SUV is expected to debut in 2024.

• HUMMER EV POWER: What powers the GMC Hummer EV Pickup is the 200 kWh Lithium battery using General Motors’s Ultium electric vehicle platform and charged by an 800-volt architecture that supports a 350 kilowatt charge rate via a DC fast charger. What this means is that you’ll get a range of 350 miles for the Hummer EV so you won’t have to worry about range anxiety. Also, the GMC Hummer EV will get 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb.-ft. of torque. Now that’s impressive!
• HUMMER EV CAPABILITY: The GMC Hummer EV will come standard with front and rear suspension as well as front e-lockers and rear lockers that provide optimal off-road handling. Another awesome capability feature is the low-speed Crab Walk option that can turn all four wheels 10 degrees diagonally in the same direction so you can literally crab walk around an obstacle. When you need extra height to get over some rugged, rocky terrain or ford water, the Extract Mode will activate the Adaptive Air Ride suspension to raise up six-inches.
• HUMMER EV INTERIOR: The Hummer EV has an immense interior with enough cabin space to accommodate three large adults across the back seat. For the driver, there is the 12.3-inch driver Driver Information Center screen. In the center of the dashboard, a 13.4-inch touchscreen houses the vehicle’s infotainment center. Below that are buttons that control climate, drivetrain options, and other functions such as the heated steering wheel. With 18 available cameras on the pickup and 17 on the SUV, UltraVision with standard HD Surround Vision offers drivers real-time views of the world around and below the Hummer EV.
