2025 GMC Terrain

The 2025 Terrain debuts with a bold, truck-inspired exterior that sets it apart from the crowd. The upright grille and distinctive LED headlamps and taillamps give it a more commanding presence on the road. For the first time ever, the Terrain offers an optional two-tone roof, adding a touch of personalization to its already stylish appearance.

The 2025 Terrain lineup introduces a new base trim called Elevation, which replaces the previous SLE and SLT trims. The Elevation AWD is currently available at McLarty Daniel Buick GMC, with the FWD version coming in early 2025.

The Terrain Elevation starts around $33,000, and comes standard with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, a 15-inch infotainment system, an 11-inch driver information center, more than 15 standard safety and driver assistance features, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

For those seeking more luxury or off-road capability, the AT4 and Denali trims will join the lineup as 2026 models in mid-2025.

One of the most significant upgrades in the 2025 Terrain is its impressive array of technology features. The centerpiece is a standard 15-inch Premium GMC Infotainment System, a substantial upgrade from the previous model. This system allows for simultaneous viewing of up to three applications, providing easy access to essential information.

Complementing the infotainment screen is an 11-inch driver information center, ensuring that all vital data is within the driver's line of sight. The Terrain now comes standard with Google Assistant integration, allowing for seamless control of various vehicle functions, navigation through Google Maps, and even the ability to add popular apps like Spotify.

Safety remains a top priority in the 2025 Terrain, with over 15 standard safety and driver assistance features. New additions to the safety suite include:

• Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection
• Blind spot warning
• Rear cross traffic warning
• Reverse automatic emergency braking
• Lane departure warning and lane keep assistance
• Adaptive cruise control

Perhaps most exciting is the introduction of up to eight available camera views, including an optional rear camera mirror – a first for the GMC Terrain available on the 2025 model.

The 2025 Terrain continues to cater to families with its thoughtful design and amenities. Standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel ensure comfort during chilly Arkansas mornings. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats provide versatile cargo options for family outings or trips to the local farmers market.

For sun-loving families, the available panoramic sunroof offers expansive views and a sense of openness to the cabin. The Terrain also introduces an AutoSense Power Liftgate, allowing hands-free access to the cargo area – perfect for when your arms are full of groceries or sports equipment.

Under the hood, the 2025 Terrain comes standard with a 1.5-liter Turbocharged engine, delivering 175 horsepower and 203 pound feet of torque. This powertrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, replacing the 9-speed found in the 2024 model. Fuel efficiency is similar to the 2024 model's 26 mpg combined rating.
